The Cuba allowed marked improvement In

which haa characterised their work Id the
last lew weeka. Today' game waa anappy

by the vlaltora for twelve hlta, but they
a ere forced to succumb to the Inevitable.
Welch, for the Omaha team, did excellent
work with the tick. Omaha playod the
cleaner ball of the two.
Omaha acored a run In the flrat Inning on
a muff of Patteraon and a three-sacker by
Welch, which brought In fihugart from
econd baae. Denver came back at the
vlaltora In Ita half of this inning by send
ing two men o'er the rubber. Janes acored
In this Inning on a bud play of Mickey, who
went to sleep after picking up a hot
grounder which was aent to him from the
end of McHale'a wagon tongue. Dundon
then came to the rubber and shot out a hot
single to ahort renter, scoring McHala.
Dundon waa caught trying to confiscate
second.
In the second Inning Omaha scored two
more rune, which waa the last of the run
vetting for Pa Rourke'a bunch. Wright and
Bhngnrt crorscd the platter on a hit by
Welch. Oenlna sent one into "Dad" Mc
Hale'a clothes basket and retired the aide.
Denver sent three men over the plate In
the third on (a paaa. three hits and Shaf
tal's inability to connect with McHale'a
hot drive, which went through to deep
center. Denver acored Ita next runs In the
seventh inning, when Jones bunted and
beat the ball to flrat. He was acored by a
three-bagger of Mohler. Mohler came gal
loping over the rubber on a hit by Dele
hanty to Dolan. Omaha tried In vain in the
remaining innlnga to score. The score:

NEVER WITHOUT

A prominent bioker of New York, who
Is called 'upon to make a number of trips
to Europe every year, always Includes In
his traveling paraphernalia a case of Red

fict by his friends he took the matter quite
V'rlouHly and aaid: "While you young man
may tako Red Raven Spllta before bre.ik
faat for too much eating or drinking the
night before and to get rid of that dark
brown tuate, I have always found the
water an excellent allevlatlve f-r aea
sickness and that feeling of fullness and
lassitude that so often accompanies long i

bitter waters found an aperient that acts
so surely and gently upon the liver. It
being ' absolutely painless. I, therefore,
take no chances and carry Red Raven
