A Tra veler's
experience
.A' party of gentlemen were gathered In
the lobby of one. of the leading hotels ths
other evening, when an argument arose
as to what Red Raven Splits really were.
One gentleman who was traveling for a
' big ' fiouse la Indianapolis ventured th
assertion that notwithstanding ths exten
slvs advertising, out of five in ths party
not thres could tell what Red Raven Splits
were, and to what use they were put.
When tha matter, was put to a test tt was
found that the Indianapolis man had won,
and In the following language he told his
experience with Red ftavea Split:
"I have found, when traveling from
place to place, taking my meals at dlf
ferent hours, sometimes on the train and
sometimes at ths hotel, that my system
became deranged, resulting In a sluggish
liver, dixxiness In ths morning, lasaltud
and loss of appetite. I had seen the ad
vettlsements ,of Red Raven Splits and
chanced to ask a druggist friend of mine
what they meant, - You caa imagine my
surprise at finding Red Raven Splits were
the remedy 'par excellence for just such
a disorder aa I was suffering from.
; tried a bottle before, breakfast ths nex
morning apd found prompt relief.
learned that they kept it not only at the
drug stores,. but st any bar In any hotel,
and since then" in all my travels, when
suttert&l front bvadshes. Indigestion or
nausea, X have been promptly relieved by

The Fowlers, holders of the City league

artemoon. Adams, tor the juniora, was in
fine form, pitching a steady game through

him splendid support, putting up ths pret
tiest fielding game seen here for several
years. The Juniors were a great surprise
to the Fremont people, who turned out a
large crowd to see the game. Miller's bat
ting, Ferguson at first and the entire out
field were the stars for the Juniors. Frits

game, allowing only seven hits, against
Adams' sine, in the fifteen innings. The
Fowlers' fielding was poor at times, but
their seven errors were not costly. Two
double plsys were the features for the

NEW YORK MAY SUE FOR DAVIS
Palliam Strongly Pretests to Johasoa
Against Americans Stealing
Players.
NEW TORK. June 26 -President Pulliam
of the National league has written to
President Ban Johnson of the American
league an open letter setting forth a pro
test of the New Tork National club against
the New York American's playing Elber
fleld after he was awarded to the Detroit
club under the peace agreement between
the leagues. President Pulliam character
izes this as a breach of the agreement.
The New York National's also have asked
his permission to establish in the courts
the validity of the contract with George
Davis. President Pulliam holds that Elber-
field's case is identical with that of Dele
hanty and Davis of, the Washington club,
whose, services were taken from the New
York National's by the peace agreement
and when a protect against their playini
with the New York American's was filei
by Mr. Pulliam, President Johnson agresd
It would be a hardship and a wrong.
President Pulliam says the spirit, if not
the letter, of the agreement has been vio
lated and the New York National club
has been the only sufferer, and notifies
President Johnson that the letter Is to the
effect that he will allow the New York
club to exercise Its legal rights as to Davis.
