There hss been rather a wean undertone to the trade for the laat week or ten days, as evidenced by the big slump In the price of all but the best grades. Today, however, all kinds suffered and the general market on both sheep and iamDs was quoted wane lower, witn trad ing very slow at the decline. One reason for this sudden drop in prices Is the fact that southern grass sneep are beginning to show up on tne lower river markets, and also at Chicago, with prospects favorable for a liberal run from this time on. As a result packers are very bearish, and claim that they are going to get the price of sheep down somewhere in line with tha price of csttle. The market on reeders has also taken a drop corresponding to the break In fat Stuff. The demand is very limited, snd nut very few cars are being shipped back to the country.
