Thieves Get Baay on Small Jobs
In Varloae Parts of
the City.
Several email theft were reported to
the police as having ooourred during the
last twenty-four hours. Dan Fordycs, a
collector for the Nonpareil laundry, hung
his coat on the wall In a barber shop at
2625 Sherman avenue while be was being
shaved. Some one stole from the pocket ot
the coat a bill book containing $30. Billy,
Bennett, the colored porter who disappeared
about the time Fordyce was shaved, is sus
pected ot the theft.

street, left his cost. In the pocket of which
was a purse containing 33.30, In hi wagon
while down town. He returned to the
wagon In- time to see two colored boys run
sway with the coat. Sue DeFrance, who
rooms at 115 South Eighteenth street, wants
the police , to locate a . thief who stole a
new fall dress from her room. The dress
la valued at $20. '
Mrs. C. G. Moon of 707 South Seventeenth
street, attended a' party Wednesday even
ing, and during her absence from borne a
thief entered and carried sway a gold watch,'
a ring and a pair of opera glasses, all
valued at $50.
JULIUSEN GOES FOR GIRLS
Leaves for St. Loals, Where He Ei

of Daughters.
Rasmus Jullusen left Wednesday night
for St. Louis to got possession of his four
daughters, who were kidnaped here Monday
afternoon and are supposed to be in that
city. Chief of Police Donahue thought it
better for Jullusen to go after the children
than to have the St. Loots police endeavor

his sister's home and get his daughters
before ' knowledge of his leaving Omaha
reaches St. Louts.
Jullusen did not notify the St. Louis
police, for he feared that those who were
Instrumental In getting the children to
leave him would by false representations
prejudice the police against him and In
some "ray prevent him from getting poses-'
slon of his daughters. Chief Donahue gave
Jullusen a letter to the St. Louis chief of
police, requesting the . latter to assist
Jullusen after his arrival.
Gustafson, who was arrested Wednesday
morning, was released that afternoon under
$500 bond. Mrs. Gustafson has not yet
been arrested.
