The doctor said tbe cut was clean and smooth, as though atone with a rasor. It required fifteen stitches te close tbe wound. A ailver tube was placed la tbe trachea. In this way it was learned that be bad been employed as coalheaver at the Fremont, Elkhorn aV Missouri Val ley round bouse. Two days aga he quit work and yesterday, in company with two white men, had been drinking considera bly.
