Chief of Police .- Donahue said yester
day that no Omaba officer was engaged in
the hunt for the Lincoln train robbers any
more than they were for all robbers. That
Is, they were watching in Omaha, and should
men of the description of the robbers come
this wsy they would be arrested.
"No Omaha officer wgs present at too
conference between officers and the Burling
ton officials, as stated in the morning
papers." said the chief, "Captain Mostyn
and Detective Captain Dunn, who were re
ported to be in Lincoln assisting tn the
search, are up in the sand hills on a hunt
ing trip that they had planned several weeks
ago."
Chief of Police Hoagland was In Omaha
Mondsy afternoon for a couple of hours,
in conference with Chief Donahue, but, ether
than to say that something would likely
happen In regard to the train robbers. Chief
Donahue had nothing to say of. the visit of
the Lincoln officer.
