Thirteen gutty chasers from Des Moines proved no unlucky number for golfers of the Omaha Country club Saturday, for the latter defeated the visitors with a like team by a total score of 21 up, over thirty-six holes, match play. Once off the links, however, all this rlv airy ended, and there was the utmost good fellowship and conviviality. The visitors were handsomely entertained at dinner, this affair being made an "extra special" one, of which an orchestra wae a feature. There waa a large gathering for dinner, and the thirty bronied golfers, groomed and dressed. but still athletes to the eye, formed an appropriate nucleus for the scores who were there, for everyone waa talking "the game." The Dea Molnea men excelled In on de partment of the game, driving. Their first shot were very likely to be long and true. But on the fin polnta of the short play the Omahan came In strong, and they won on It. The score la a fairly close one, eon sidering the number of contestant and the number of hole covered. In the morning play Omaha wa away to the good all the time. When that eighteen holes was finished the local team was up nineteen holes. The afternoon round was (lifTarent. The visitors nlayed Omaha tit for tat all the Journey, and the latter was only two holes up on the last eighteen, making twenty-one In all The match between the professional at tracted much attention. Both Sherwood and Barsch of Omaha beat Watson of Des Molnea. Sherwood beat Barach as well, be lng high man of the three. He waa In great form, and made the first nine holea In bogey, despite the weather conditions, Watson was three stroke down to Barach and five down to Sherwood, Most of the Des Molnea men will remain In Omaha over Sunday, and they will be on the links. M zl'O of Primary Baldness Cured With Newbro's Herpicide The ease of Frederick Mannef ef Butte, Montana, wboae picture forma the border to this article. Is attract lng attention far and wide. Mr. Manuel la a structural Iron worker, and la well known locally In connec tion with the tallest ateel frame building In Montana. Hie Interest In church and Sunday echool work also aervea to give his caae more than ordinary prominence. Mr. Manuel's own letter speaks for Itself: Butte, Mont., July 2nd. Some time ago all of my hair came out and my scalp had the shiny appearance that looked like chronic bald ness. On April 6th I pur chased a bottle of Newbro's Herpicide, and in exactly twenty days after I had hair all over my head that was a quarter of an inch long, and today my hair is as thick and luxuriant as any one could wish. (Signed) FREDERICK MANUEL, Butte, Mont. Chronic Baldness Incurable Intelligent people know that chronic baldness Is Incurable, there fore no consideration ahould be shown the patent medicine fakir who "grows hair while you wait." The hair growing charlatan la rapidly be coming a thing of the past, for In the bright searchlight of science his dis honest scheming Is apparent to all. The time to save the hair la before It is lost. The world Is Indebted to Prof. Unna of the Charity Hospital, Hamburg. Germany, for making a truly scientific dandruff remedy pos sible. It waa he who flrat pointed out that the underlying cause of dandruff, falling' hair, and consequent baldness is a germ or microbe that burrows Into the hair sheath, where Its presence may be unsuspected for years, or. In fact, until dandruff ap pears; and that the dleeaae la con tagious. Newbro'a Herpicide destroys this scalp microbe, permitting the hair to grow aa nature intended (un less the hair follicles are wholly de void of life). Prominent physicians have tested and Indorsed Newbro'a Herpicide, and hundreds of them use It dally In their practice. Try It. A Word to the Wise Newbro's Herpicide Is the ORIGINAL snd only real scalp germicide on the market, and it stands alone, today. In a class singularly Its own. A fow hair tonic makers have abandoned their own methoda of advertising, and now boldly claim to "kill the dandruff microbe." The deception la transparent, and you should be chary of old-style dandruff curea claiming to do what Herpicide doea. If your (druggist Intends to serve you hon estly he will promptly hand out New bro's Herpicide when you call for It, but if he hesitates or showa you something else, rest sssured that he haa a financial axe to grind, and It might be eater for you to make your purchase at aome other atore. Re member that an Inferior article la never imitated, and that If It Isn't Herpicide It won't kill the dandruff germ.
