We want It distinctly understood now and forever that we are teaching Gregg shorthand In Its "purity" and that our teachers ar mora competent to teach It than any others In the state. W thought lt was generally known that we were the first to Introduce Gregg short hand Into Nebraska. We think It Is well known that all of the other schools op posed the adoption of Gregg and criticised lt very severely. It Is also well known that all th schools throughout th state, with but few exceptions, are now ad vertising to teach thla system. W want to emphasise the fact that we are still able and willing to teach Gregg In all Its "purity" to those who want It. W pre fer, however, and have cogent reasons, to teach what w term "Improved Gregg." W prefer to do this becauae the Improved Gregg Is much better than the Gregg. In Its original "purity." This Is easily demonstrated. We call this "Improved Gregg" because Prof. Mosher, the principal of our shorthand department. Is the roan who Improved this system, to such an extent that It Is now the best system on the mar- ket for all kinds of work. If any student wants pur Gregg, we can give It to htm. If he wants something very much better. Improved Gregg, we are prepared to give It ! to him. Pointer No. 7 We would like to assign a few reasons why students should learn shorthand and typewriting at the Omaha Commercial college. 1. It Is not only used all over the United States, but It Is to be found In nearly every country In the world where th English language Is spoken.
