a high collar means discomfort. ''This ad-
mirable model Is so constructed as to al
low a ebole between tha atock and tha
open V, between tucked elbow sleeve and
the plain bishop sort. As shown, It Is at
pale blue crepe da -chlo cream lacs and
black velvet ribbon, but' all- tha materials
used for gowns and odd waists ara appro

closes at tha center front. Both back and
fronts of the waist ara stitched la groups
of four fine tucks, then arranged over the

hooked Into place at the left shoulder. Tha
elbow sleeves are tucked to within a few -inches
of the lower edge, where they fall
free to form frills, but the bishop sleeves
are plain, finished with narrow ouffs.
