elusions. Senator William P. Frye of Maine Is sn
ardeat lover of the sport of fishing. In tbe
tar recesses of the Penobscot woods, re
lates tbe Saturday Evening Post, he built
years ago a picturesque hermitage at tha
bead of a chain of mountala lakes, and

Once, after his return from bis summer's
