An Intor-clty golf association, the largest
In tho west, Is to bo formed hy representa
tives of tho clubs In cities between tho Mis
sissippi river and Rocky mountains at a
meeting In Omnha on June 8.
Tho movement to form this big associa
tion was inaugurated nt a meeting held In
Kansas City a week ago yesterday. The

formed by representatives of tho following

proclaimed winner and receive some trophy,
perhaps a loving cup.
Challenges havo been Issued for several
preliminary games. Leavenworth Is to play
In St. Joseph on May 25, Omaha on Juno 16
and Kansas City on Juno 22. Other pre
liminary games nro being arranged.
