an interest In an estato left by Michael
Farrcll. Tho estato Is still in the conns,
but Brooks und his brother, a little fellow
8 years old, have proved up their claim to
property willed them by Farrcll and will
recclvo considerable property as soon as
tho estato Is settled.
Henry Brook, tho llttlo hoy, accompanied
IiIb brother to Omaha and will make his
homo here After Iho death of his mother
several years ago ho was adopted by
Michael Farrcll, an eccentric Irishman who
had no heirs. Farrcll owned a largo rnncb
and had 110.000 in cash at tho time of tils
death. Small bequests wero made to several
Catholic institutions and a few friends und
tho remainder uf tho properly was willed
to the llttlo colored boy.
Mrs. Ilrooks left several pieces of property
and somo money In trust with Farrcll at the
