year's production will bo 45,022,293 tons, ns
against last yeor'H output of 47,063,303.

that tho output for 1900 would at least bo
2,000,000 tons moro than tho previous year,
but tho loss of tonnngo and tho shutting;
down of the mines during tho strike caused
