Wise, a farmer living ten miles north of
hero, was playing cards with his wife and
four children at home last night shots
were fired through the window from a shot
gun and a rifle. William Wise, Jr., 7 yearn
old, was Instantly killed. James, 11 years
old, was shot through tho right lung. Wil
liam Wise, sr., 38 years old, was shot In the
right shoulder from behind, ten buckhot3
entering bis body. He lb paralyzed and will
die. Mrs. Wlso was shot In tho back and
will die. Kllza and Martha, tho daughters,
escaped by Jumping Into a closet. It la
not yet known who did tho aboatlng.
Tho WIo family had recently moved hero
from Wisconsin, where they aro tald to have
been involved In u feud. They bad also bad
