turning to his homo on North Eighteenth
btrect. was seized by three ruffians at Six

handled. After choking him until he was
almost unconscious they dragged him
through a door opening into a fonred en
closure In tho rear of a snloon. Here, lay
ing him on his back, two of tho highwaymen
searched his pockets for valuables, while a

his cries for help.
