the opening session of the Interstate Com
merce commission held hero today. Frank
Barry uf Mllwuukov , secietnry of the Mil
lers' National association of the United
States was also present. Ho declared that
a discrimination ou the part of the railroads
between freight tariffs on wheat and flour
favored the foreign manufacturer 15 cents
per barrel and that ho Intended to protest
to the commission.
The Milwaukee delegation said they
wonted nn adjustment of rates , doing away
with the alleged dlbcilmlnntlon which al
lows Minneapolis a better export grain rate
than the Wisconsin metropolis.

Central Freight association , representing the

that there Is a discrimination in rates engrain

15 cents per 100 pounds for flour shipped lor
export and a rate of 12 centa for wheat for
export.

Saturday a portion of the corpse was taken
out of tlio water by men who were unloading
a steamer nt a dock at the foot of Forty-
