Praha lodge No. 328 of South Omaha has
organized a degree crew , which Is now drillIng -

The Past Slaster Workmen's association
Is now "the " liveliest body of the order. At
the last meeting the grand lodge representa
tion question was acted upon and a com-
mtttee was appointed to report Wednesday ,
February 15. The action decided upon wlfl

The most Interesting subordinate lodge
session la arranged for Monday evening ,
February 13. North Omaha lodge No. 159
has arranged for a Joint discussion of the
assessment feature. C. W. MHIer of South
Omaha will advocate what Is called the
"Classified" and L. Searle will oppose It ,
enumerating the advantages of the "Level. "
This meeting has been announced in most
all the lodge" of Omaha and South Omaha
and If the weather Is favorabfe Wolf's hall

sessment question being now uppermost in
the minds of the members. They want to
become Informed before electing -their grand
lodge delegates. The election will be hold

A new lodge bos been organized at Avoca ,
Neb , under favorable circumstances.
Magic City lodge. No SO , was visited Sat
urday evening by a number of Omaha mem
bers. The new fraternal master and his
officers are determined to make this the
most successful year In the history Of the
lodge.
Mondamln lodge. No. Ill , gave an Inter
esting program Monday evening after the
regular session. The large number of visit
ing members present were well entertained
by members of the lodge. This lodge will
meet next Monday evening , corner Seven
teenth and Farnam streets. All members
of the order are cordially Invited to be

The degree staff of Mondamln lodge re
cently elected the following offlcers' Cap
tain , Charles M. Rackley ; secretary , Miss
M. Gasser ; treasurer , D. N. Williams.
Thursdny evening last and the Thursday
evening preceding the staff met at the resi
dence of Prater J W. Doran. After the
regular business and drill , a general good
time socially and refreshments were en

Banner lodge. No 11 , met Thursday and

members. An entertainment committee

famous parties to be given at Metropolitan
hall on Friday evening , February 14. In-
vltatlons to the members and their female

The entertslnment committee has decided to
make this a dancing party nnd a large at
tendance of the members la expected. The
council Is considering the question of giving
a stag party In the near future , to which
the members will be expected to Invite their
gentlemen friends The members at present
are engaged In a friendly contest for ap
plications for membership The same will
close with a banquet at one ot the principal
hotels In April
Knoxall council No 1464 nt South Omaha
at Its meeting on Monday evening appointed
a committee to arrange a plan for the ex
tension ot the order In that city and to ar
range for a contest for members.

Last Tuesday was a red-letter day In the
annals of Omaha camp No 1C Fifteen new
members were Initiated , the degree team ot
Alpha cams exemplifying the work. The
Protection decree was conferred upon three
candidate * nnd the Morning degree on
twelve. VVsllors were present from all the
neighboring camps and several ot the
sovereign officers delivered addresses.
Because of the convention head camp
meeting next Tuesday the drilling contest
between the teams of Alpha camp and
Council camp , Council Bluffs , will bo post
poned until February 23
Seymour camp has changed Ita meeting
night from every other Tuesday to every
Wednesday.
Omaha camp No 16 will begin the second
series of progressive high five parties next
Tuesday evening. Contests will bo held each
alternate. Tuesday.
Seymour camp No. 57 will give n
masquerade dance Wednesday evening , Feb
ruary 15 , at Woodmen's hall. The pro
ceeds are to bo devoted to the charity fund
ot the camp. A large attendance Is looked

1 , conferred the third rank upon a candidate
furnished by Fontanclle lodge , Bellevue ,
Neb. The chancellor commander , with u
number of members of Fontauelle lodge ,
were present and -wero highly pleased with
the efficient manner in which the rank was
conferred. Next Monday evening the second
rank will be conferred.
The thirty-first anniversary of the order
will occur February 19 This day being
Sunday , the event will bo appropriately
celebrated the following Monday evening
The veteran Pythian association Is arrang
ing for Its annual banquet at the same time ,
at one of the leading hotels. The program
committee U at work and a rousing good

of the competition Is. to see which side
can secure the largest number of applicants ,
the losing side to furnish a banquet for
the winners. Arrangements are being
