There were pretty girls as Spanish senorltas , wearing gonna trimmed -with bells and bangles , Cossack maidens In furs Imper sonating the peasants of the steppes of Hua- ela , Topslea In dresses of sackcloth and multi-colored calico , and Dutch girls with the wooden oboes , caps and aprons peculiar to the fashions of Holland. Ibe men wore costumes not less picturesque. Among the more unique were matadors , Indian braves , princes , an Uncle Sara , John Bull and negro comedians. At 11 o'clock there was a cake walk.
