MONEY IN THE SCHOOL FUND Districts OutaimjttofOntitlia All l1nc Plenty of Cash in time 'rrena- miT ) . OV. "The school districts of the county won never In better shape than they are now , ' said County Superintentlent l3odwell , as li looked up from his annual report for th , fiscal year , upon which ho is now at work : "All the districts hmavo money in thou treasuries except one , .tho Thirtieth , jusi west of Invington. One , that at Benson , hzu as much as 2,0S4 ; Millard has $1,928 ; Ben. nimigton , 1,638 , and School district No. 31 , 1l5J. I cannot say just yet as to Souti Omaha , but I think ( lint ditrLct has some thing like $27,000 in its treasury. Most aE the others of the sixty-one districts out. side of Onmaba have amounts varying arommn 1 $200 , $300 and $400. Leaving Ornuhi out I should approximate a total for ( hi , county of say $55OCO. "The apportionment from the state is thi largest this year it has ever been , In Janu. mmry , 1S97 , It was about $40,000 ; In July ol r that year $41,000 ; last January , $44OSO , and I this time , $48,815. So you can see that it ham been steadily increasing. In previous ycarm : ran from $23,000 up to about $30,000 , sonic years during a triie ( better. The distrlctm have never been in such splendid condition financially , " A rhuillppimie lieroiuie. One of the Philippine lusurgent headerm is a beautiful woman s'bose life seems tc be charmed.
