Not long after this , Leo npplied to Judge Scott for a writ of habeas corpus , alleging that in his opinion the three Lun sisters had been brought here for immoral purposes and that It was the purpose of the vroprietors of the Moo Lee Wah Village company to sell them at the rate of $ l,100 each , to bo delivered in San Francisco. Upon thIs showing , the writ was issued and the girls were arrested by lJepuy Sheriff StrikUr 811(1 conducted into court. The trial proceeded and evidence was taken , Miss Wykoil pushing the prosecution.
