The republican electors of the Second
congressional district of Nebraska arc re
quested to sent1 delegates from their re-
upcctlvo counties to meet In convention In
Omaha , Neb. , on the 28th day of May , 1898 ,
at 4 o'clock p. m. , the delegates therefor In
the several counties composing the Second
congressional district to be selected on or
after May 21 , 1898. . Said congressional con
vention will place In nomination one 'candi
date for representative in congress , pro
vide for the selection of a congressional
committee and transact any other business
which may properly come before It.
Ihe several counties are entitled to rep
resentation In the convention as follows :
