SAN FRANCISCO , Aug. 17. At midnlgh :
the jury In the Davlo will contest returnee

will be divided between Mrs. Belle Curtli
and her sister Lizzie Mutr. Mrs. Curtli
Is the wife of ex-Assemblyman John Curtis
The case was stubornly fought by t-asten
relatives of Davis , who set up that the will
offered for probate was a forgery.
Jacob Z. Davis arrived here In early days

The will was found in an urn containing
the ashes of Mrs. Davlo. The contestant !
set up that the paper had been slipped Intc

drawn several neeku after the death o :
Davis. The urn containing the ashes wat
brought into court and made an exhibit li

When the verdict was announced Attornei
