The price has declined for corn nlsto. although everybody knows that the heavy exports m nn relatively more Ihon Ihe cxporl * of wheat. Cotton Is unchanged after a ' . c decline , but the continuing large movement from plantations nnd the depression of manufacturing here nnd iibroad do not encourage high prices. There has been a general reduction In the prices of cotlon goods , which nt present stim ulates larger buying. The woolen Industry Is slower than ever nnd no Improvement appears In the demand for goods , nllhougii owing lo the lateness of the season there Is lllllc more doing bolh In spring nnd In winter goods , without quotable change In prices. The heavy buying of wool mentioned last week has continued , with smaller concerns pnrllclpallng. nnd Is un derstood lo be In nnllclpnllon of expected duties , the sales nt Iloston having amounted to 11.- SCS.OOO Ibs.
