The most of the cattle here were killers and a good share of them cornfee natives. There were a few hay-fed westerns In the , yards. lVery one wanted cattle this morning , flfl(1. ( While the offerings of beeves were quite liberal , thaL fact did not pievelit there being a good strong and active market. The buyers vre earlp in the 50(1(110 ( and the offerings changed hands quite readily , ro that an early clearance was efTecled. Among the offerings were some proLty. good cattle and as high as $ I.O was paul for 1,430 and I,4Oi.pound steers. Quite a string of cattle. the most of them weighing between - tween 1,300 and 1,400 Pounds , sold at from $2.8 ; to 13.90. The market on butchers' stock was also active and strong and everything sold eariy. Only about tea to twelve loads of cows afll heifrs were offered ( or sale and they (11(1 ( not last very long in the face of the very active demand on the part of local ' parkers. The stocker and feeder trade did not present any especially new features. There were not many cnttle of that kind in the yaris and what there wore brought about ' . - the same old prices.
