In accordance with Instructions from the Doard of County Com missioners , County Judge Drury called upon Knudsen for the purpose of procuring a deed to the site of the well. It has been cuo- tomary where the county located n county artesian welt on land belonging to private parties , for the parties to deed the site to the county. But this Kmulron refuses to do , claiming that the law under which the well was bunk was declared Invalid by Judge Haney , now of the state supreme court , and maintaining that he does not consider him self obliged to deed the silo to the county.
