Euclid Martin-The proposed fire and police

Is open to considerable adverse criticism .
I always believed that special legislation of
that character enacted for the particular
of gratifying IndivIduals Is

ball for the community. The people and
taxpayers will be the sufferers. I am op-
posed to turning over the reins of municipal
government to a secret society of any kind ,
or placIng the people at the mercy of a
political clique , because I Ielove that the
fire and police shoull be divorced from poll-

goad board of Ire and polee commissioners
