The latter i dropped to CSHc , recovered ngaln to from to 68c , and turned down once more , reacting to GSWo. Heports from the north west Indicated that farmers' deliveries > -wore falling oft. On Hint Information the price rallied again to GS c. The primary * -wheat receipts were 618,13 ! ) bu. , and export clearances from the Atlantic seaboard were again , very small. Argentine wheat wan , fluoted , 3d per quarter higher. Cables came weak nt the close. Baltimore wired that there was nn Improved cash demand for both wheat and corn. New York reported 118 carloads of wheat taken there for ex- liort and Blx loads beside at out ports. The market here became quite llrm on the lat ter Information and recovered all but Uo of Its earlier loss , the closing bids for May being HUc. * Corn had n moderate trade at a further decline III jirlce. From 4874c at the opening tlffc price declined to48',4c , but wns sus tained by covering of shorts nnd u few * 'ordiSriCflorsi'long accounts at the decline. Towttru' thc end of the session , the sea. board sent advices of a revival of the de mand for both corn nnd wheat , and that , together with the ready sale for the re ceipts , caused the market to wake up here and brought about u recovery of thu earlier lqns , May closing at 4gc. Another very quiet session was passed In oats. Fluctuations were coiflned to u very narrow range nnd entirely in sympathy with other cereals. The provision market averaged weak nnd wore a very heavv qnpearance until near the close , when , buying by packers brought It back , after an early decline , to about the level of the previous day's clos ing price.
