The case of Chester Ttirney , her son , haa tieen given national publicity , mainly through her years of unceasing agitation. The clippings from the newspapers measure up over 400 columns , and her satchel Is filled with doc umentary statements of. a startling nature. Her s'ory Is too long to be rehearsed In de tail. It Is to the effect that her son was Imprisoned In Anamosn for several years , having been sent there with out having committed any crime , and even without having had a legal trial , Her history of the case Is filled with Instances of the gross injustice done to him and to her , end the signatures at many notables of all professions arc attached to statements corroborating her claims. After a long struggle she succeeded In getting her son pardoned , and then , she sought to get the state of Ion a to make rccomp nse for the wrong done. Her claim for $10,000as strongly endorsed , but It fell by the way. Sotno little tlmo ago she decided to enter the lecture field and thus make the public familiar with her great grievances , but her health falling she had to abandon this plan. Now she has decided to publish a book , giving a full history of the case , and from the sale of this she hopes to keep the wolf from the door , and at the an mo time place her family affairs before the public In such a true light as to wipe out in part the disgrace brought about by the acts of per secution.
