[ Special Telegram to THE BKE. ] Over $1.000.000 worth of farming lands have had their titles shaken by a decision rendered by the superior court of Dooley county. In 1870 great trouble was experienced in collecting the taxes on wild lands , and out of the complications grow the cir cumstances which resulted in the im peachment of Comptroller General Smith. A general sale of these delin quent lands was then ordered , and over 200,000 acres was put upon the block. The bulk of this land was purchasdd by capitalists to bo held for the future. Meantime squatters were in possession. From ono of those squatters arose a claim of possession , which ended in the case of today. It was shown 'that the law required that the lands should have been advertised four times , a week pre ceding the pale , and that in fact they had only been advertised three times. The original liles of the Advertising Gazette wore nresented to tbo jury , which tit once found against the state and the court declared the sale illegal. This equally nft'ucts all other sales made under it. The lapse of eighteen years since has greatly increased the value of these lands , and upon them are the sites of faoveral flourishing villages.
