The ordinance was passed unde a suspension of the rules. The cier' was Instructed to have printc 100 copies each of the mayor's message an the rules of the council. A wrangle ensued upon the reading of lot of sewer bids , and on Smith's motion 1 was decided to reject all bids and instruc tne clerk to have new specifications draw up which should provide for the furnishin of all lumber required by the contractors.
