the question of commissions on Immigrant
trafllc A majority of the committee adopted
resolutions recommend Ins tint the commis
sion on Immigrant trafllc , by way of St.
Ixinls and Chicago to common western ter
ritory , bo as follows : TeSt I'aul nml Min-

Bluffs , Omaha , Sioux City , Lcarcmiorth , St.
Joseph , Kansas City and points beyond.fa 50 ;
to points vvuat of Chicago and St. flouts nnd

exceeding In any case &i 50 ; to points on the

the Wcstem Passenger association regatd-

it shall bo found practicable and feasible to
reduce the figures specified , an effort shall
be inniln to accomplish that end In this
connection it vsns decided that the eastern
icprusontativcs of the various immigrant
agencies , particularly Messrs Johnson , Mor-
tcnson , Ottenhoimer , McDonnell and Mull ,
fthould expicaaly agree for themselves that
they will vvoik exclusively with the members
of the Westoin Passenger association and
the Canadian Pacific railioad in the hand
ling of Immigrant business for the present

grant business among the lines participat

of the traffic than the other northwestern
