cited the lady and Mr McElbutton jabbed a
pitchfork into his cheek.
Meantime Thomson's son-in-law had
sneaked up behind Mrs. McElhattoo and
"bifleu her one" in tbe uecu. Then McElbat-
ton hied himself into tno bouse und brought
forth his trusty musket , with wnlch he
threatened to scatter Thomson's uuatomv to
