very uneven nnd fluctuated a great deal.

Last night when Dr. Kelly climbed the
stairway in the Packers' National bank
building to reach his rooms he found in the
hallway a man and a young girl , not over 14
jcars of ago. From the conversation bo-

stairs. A surgeon took several stitches In a
bad scalp wound the fellow sustained , The

That Occupation Tax.
This Is the last day of grace nnd those who
have not done so will save themselves con
siderable trouble and expense by calling on
Treasurer Hector and onylnp their occupa
tion tux. A complete list of delinquents has
been prepared and if they do not pay today t
the city attorney will bring civil actions to
compel the payment of the tux , In accord-
