Section 1. It shall bo unlawful for any per

ouble yards over , ncross or along any paved
street or alley In the elty of Omaha without
first obtaining from the hoard of public works
of 8alU city u permit BO to do and complying
with the regulations provided In this ordin
ance.
Section 2. Any person , company or co rpora-
tlon before enterln/ upon the work of gr.idlng
any lot. street or alley In tlio elty of Oinnha ,
of making nny oxutivatlon for any collar or
other purpobo , In excess of ton eublo yards , I
and hauling any part of the earth graded or
excavated upon , along or across imy p.ivcd
street or alley In the oity of Omalia , shall
make application to thu board of public works
