courtbousc.unil the ghost of the depot scheme
was trotted out und pat through its paces
by W. II. Pusey and George F. Wright with
the same painstaking nlr as it used to bo two
or thred years ngo. It had been so long
since n meeting had been held for the purpose -
pose of talking over the project that quite a
number nf the member * of the company
were present , Impelled by u curiosity to see
what would bo dono. Wright reported that
$1,000 or S < iOJO would bo necessary to
pay oft the unpaid taxes and other in-
eumbrances on the property of the com
pany , und bo encouraged the stockholders by
telling them that If they held on long enough

hour and at all the stations along the line
crowds had assembled whicih greeted the an-
pcaranco of the gully decorated engines with
hearty cheers.
Arrived at the grounds , the various parties
separated nud soon the beautiful grove rebounded -
