After disposing of the selection of committcomon a resolution was offered that the chairman of the delegation bo instructed to poll the solid vote of the delegation for Cleveland until ho was nominated , or until othcrwiso instructed. A motion was made to amend by inserting the name of Governor Pattison instead of that of Cleve land.
