A splendid drill by the Indianapolis Light Artillery followed , nnd entertained the crowd for n full half hour. The University Cadets of Lincoln nnd the National Fenclblos gaVe exhibitions , and were followed by the McCarthys and Fletchers , who drilled us one company. Captain Lcchtman nnd his Halo Zouaves then came on nnd kept the crowd Interested for Eotno little lltno. Much to. the disappoint ment of the nudlence the rounves did not do their great fence scaling net. But the most Interesting drill of all for the nud lee co wns the drill of Cnptnln Boyd's "Ghosts , " which combined both the Scaly nnd Dolknnp Hides , dressed lu pure white. The maneuvers of this command wcro loudly applauded. Captain Curtis , chairman of Ino committee on rules , reported that the rules were tw good as could bo made and that the commit- tco had no suggestions to offer. A resolution barring cadet companies from military schools where there in a military instructor from the frca-tor-all was passed. The rules of the Omahu encampment were then adopted , iloraaftor privates and non commissioned officers will ha allowed to wit ness all drills if they so desire.
