Special Acont Krotsclimorof the Interstate

with alleged violations of the interstate com

The main object of Ins visit was a case In
which the Missoutt I'uellic and tlio Cuilahv
PncKiiiR company ute involved. It is charged
that a tar of dressed moat was shipped fiom
Omaha to Now York via , Kansas City. At
the latter place it is alleged that the car was
sot on the side tiack at the packing house ,
whore to mo of its contents were removed and
other packing house products substituted ,
after which the car was taken to Now Vork.
The ofllcials of the company express the
opinion that if the situation as stated is cor
rect , the action is defensible- under the law.
as tne course is exactly the same as is pur
sued in the handling of grain under the "mill-
Ing in transit" arrangement.
The Uuillngton lias issued a neat , little
pamphlet containing correct dingiams of the
seats , stalls ana boxes in each of the princi
pal theaters in the city , which will bo found
of great assistance in selecting and also in
locating scats. The book also contain * a com
plete time tublo of nil the principal lines in

A special ttain of tofrigorator cars , con
