noon at 11:80 : J. H. Donnelly and wife were
found dead In their house tliroo miles west of
this city. About 7 o'clock this morning their
son Ilc'nrv , about twenty years of ago , wont
to a neichbor's three or four mlles distant on
nn errand for his father , who , with his
mother , was loft at homo attending to such
household duties as nro common on n ( arm.
When ho returned ho opened thu door leadIng -
Ing into the kitchen und found his mother
dead In a pool of blood. In an adjoining
room ho found his fathoi's lifeless body
with a revolver by his sldo.
An Investigation is now being inadu by
Acting Coroner Scott Mrs. Donnelly was
shot twice In the bre.ist and beatou over the
head with some blunt Instrument. Mr.
Donnelly was shot through the heart. It is
