of foreign bankers and capitalists respecting

they have been realizing , and causing their
customers to realize , to a considerable ex
tent during the past month , either because
thevero directly called upon to supply
gold to meat the Kursian demands , or be
cause they apprehended disturbances from
those demands , and wer * * fortifying them-
