Moycr was commenced. This Is a case that
arises nn account of the building on lower
Farnam street having bcon blown down two
years ago. At that time Olson wan running a
tailor shop In the small building Juit east ot

fell It crushed the adjoining building , killing

nttie. Vigorous efforts bad evidently been
nadu by the institute authorities to clean up

Dr. Sinclair of the institute showed the
mrtv around. The much complained of
itablo was found to bo empty. Neither horses
lor carriages were thero. The garbage in
he rear of the building had boon cleaned up
and loaded Into n wagon ready for removal.
V thorough Inspection of the operating room
vas made , but its appearance had been so
lotlceably changed that little was found
there to complain of.
It was decided by the committee to request
Superintendent of Buildings Whltlock and a
sewer Inspector to go over tno building this
nomlng in connection with yesterday's In
vestigation.
The members of the committee declined testate
state the opinions they had formed , but de
cided to hold a meeting at 10 o'clock this
afternoon at Dr. Ganon's oftico to talk over
ho matter and decide upon some form of re-

Philomcnu's cathedral , for the rcposo of his
soul.

The services were attended by a large nuin
ber of the Catholics of the city tocothor with
the Uathollo pastors of nearly all the city
p.mshes.
The mass was celebrated by Bishop Scan-
neil , the successor to the deceased. Ho was
assisted by Hov. John Jennotto of St. Pat
rick's and Hov. D.V. . Moriarty of South
Omaha as deacon and sub-deacon of honor
respectively ; Kov. George Glauber of St.
Mary Magdnline's and Hov. F. Smith of the
Sacred Heart as deacon and sub-deacon re
spectively , of the mass , and Hov. P. Carroll
of St. Cecilia's nnd Hcv. F. Brucn
of St. Philomona's as musters of ceremonies.
The missa do requiem was feelingly sung by
the choir. After muss absolution was pro
nounced by Bishop Scunnell.
