The art reception at the conservatory Sat- uarday night , given by tbo students of the art department was largely attended by friends of the conservatory and levers of nrt. The parlors were artistically and appropri ately arranged with easels , on which were placed the comploteil works of the students. It was the occasion of the sixth annual ball of the Ancient Order of Hibernians , and it was a grand success both socially ami financially.
