city , having undertaken the trip from
Ireland solely for the purpose of inspect

expressed the opinion that ho considers
that the resources and many natural ad
vantages of Laredo assure the building
up of a largo and prosperous city here ,

opment of this place as one of the most
substantial evidences of American genius

Mr. Murphy has backed up his confi
dence in Laredo's future advancement by
