We placed an order with u manufac
turer In Chemnitz , Saxony , in August
IbSl ) , for a largo stock of ladies' , child
ren's and men's hosiery , to bo delivered
to us February 1 of this year. They
were not shipped from Chemnitz until
March 22 and arrived hero about a week
ago ; being so late we placed them sub
ject to the maker's order and ho cabled

right and charge him with the dlllor-
