the clearings was entirely out of proportion ,
and explained it when , for instance , Kansas
City managed to show Irom $3,000,000 to
$1,000,000 a week more in the clearmss than
Omaha. There everything , Including the
stock yard transactions , goes througli
the cloari'ig house , while here the exchange
is confined solely to current business derived
from trade circles in the city proper.
Neither bouth Omaha uor the stockyards
receipts , which would add 81,000,000. ever

through the Omaha National bank. In order

Wyandotte , West Kansas City , Annordale
