On every hard so'-t ' a eroat lot of wheat was offered and th ' nliy about noon did not hold. The market was tlattcned out aiain under the pressun * of ollenni s , and prices broke buck past thi * inside hinita previously reached. This rintfo marks a break in two days of near1 , Hi1. The weaknp s lately expi'ni'nced hori * is felt to even a greater deirree in the northwest As the buliri : was big ger and the excitement more in tense , so is the reaction more pronounced. High prices aJt-r all induced good country selling and wheat 13 piling into Min neapolis faster than it can be handled. Re ports from th-jre are to the effect that i. 100 cars of xvheat .ire on the trades in Minneap olis at this writmc , and that receipts for thu next two wefics or month will be limited on y by the transportation facilities. Thia decline may also stimulate deliveries in the winter wheat regions to some extent. Millers here anil elsewhere report tnat while the de mand for rtno Hour for family trade keeps up extraordinarily , low in-ules are accumulat ing at a rapid rate and tind slow sale. The market was stricken with excessive sickness a littlu while before the close and last nuota- tons were at the extreme inside , viz. , II lO1 for November. * l. U-.j for December and tl U"t for May. Thu feeling was slumpy and soft at the close , and thu bears were in high feather. They had achieved a triumph. Corn also exhibited some weakness at thu start m sympathy with the very pronounced depression in the wheat pit. Opening fleures showed a decline from yesterday's closing ngnres on near futures , with May compara tively steady. Receipts to-day were some what in excess of yesterday's estimate , which took no account or oanal receipts. The market ruled comparatively steady after tan early weakness , seeming to be xvell sup ported , and thu suspicion still anpears to exist that the present and next month may bo subjected to a similar maneuver to that lately witnessed in September wheat. This great weakness in wheat towards thu close had a sympathetic effect on corn and it sold oft to its lowest point right at thu close , November closing ( .it'io under yesterday's final price and December ' < c lower. In oats the dullness of yesterday was asam the feature , with .ill futures this side of May neglected while only moderate business was recorded in that month. Fresh arrivals were liberal and : J50 cars were estimated for to-morrow The market shared the weak ness m other cereals , though thu decline was unimportant , averaging L4' ujsc on near futures , while May was nearly steady around UUe. The premium on tnat month over Octo ber is now S c , which is a wider difference than has been shown recently. No. J cash wis ; about steady at4e in store with tradm ; lariruly by sample. Provisions acted sympathetically with pram thouch the weakness developed was 3ue m , i great measure to advices received 4 in the stock yards where hous were in 1 1 supply and lower The decline suffered brought out a large amount of poorly margined long property , and from the openIng - Ing aiinost every trader exhibited a bearish inclination. Holders desiring to sell found thu market \ difficult onu to realizu in and were largely at the mercy of buyers. The day s depression was gHnenl , ana as com pared with yesterday's tihal prices , closings showed a severe break.
