Smith , who resides in Albright addition , called at police headquarters yesterday nnd reported the disappearance of his step-daughter , Sadie Clark , a pretty , blue-eyed , brown-haired girl of llftccn. Ho said that she was enticed away from the homo of her sister , Mrs. Nora Frnzcr , on Friday last by one Mrs. Jones , alias 1'arker , a woman who "isn't as good as she ought to be , " according to Mr. Smith. Ho says he feels certain that the Jones woman has taken her awny for immoral purposes , us the busi ness of procuress seemed to be the trade she followed. Sadie , when thu woman called for her , bad her hands in the dough , being busy making bread for dinner. She was dressed ? in her old clotln s , and when she left , put on one of the little children's bats. .lonos told her she had something very important to communicate nnd she only wanted her to walk with her a short ways while she told her. Minutes elapsed and then hours went by nnd still Sadie did not return , and becoinlni/apprehen sive that all was not ri ht the family started out to hunt her up.
