Cattle.
There was not much change In the cattle
trade to-day from yesterday. The receipts
were heavier and the market was active on
ileslniblo grades. About all the beef cattle
were bold beloro the closo. There were
twelve loads of eorn-fed Texas cattle hero
which were delivered on contract at ? 4.23.
The receipts of hogs were light again
to-day , only lorty-threo loads bclnu received
Tho'dcmund was strong und the market was
cxcitcu and fully 10c higher. In toiub vases
n advance of IBc was paid by the buyers
who were anxious to fill their orders. The
excitement In the market and the heavy ad-
ranco was apparently duo to the light re-
cipts and the strong demand.
Sliccp.
Tlierc were none on the market.
