The offerings of butchers' stock wore light nnd only a few odds nnd ends changed hands , MORN. The receipts wcro light to-day , as usual on the first of the week , The market opened with the buyers offering steady prices , but with salesmen asking an advance. Two good heavy loads brought $5.40 , but the general market was about steady. On account of the difference between the buyers nnd sellers trading was n little Blow , but everything was sold lu fair season , Sliccp. Thrro were more sheep hero than any rflher kind of stock.
