and only a few changed hands at pi ices about

good stock offered. On Tuesday a bunch ol

others not quite so good , which wcighct
1 120 , sold for t4 20. On Wednesday trading
was quite active , 477 head changing hands
The market was somowlmt lower , the to [
price bolng ? 4.15. Frida.v's maikct was
low or , and a good many head changed hands
ut pi ices about this same ns the day previous
although on some grades it was a shade
lower.
The receipts were light and the market was
short. Tlio price was uneven and while
most of the offerings wcro steady others
sold higher. Two loads sold at $5.40.
Tlio receipts of ho s for the week wcro
1,854 head und on Monday had it not been for
for those held over theio would haidly have
been any maiket. The top price paid wns
$540. Tuesday's tocolpts were moderate
und while good stuff sola early at the prices
of the day previous , the market closed 5i10c (
lower. On Wednesday the receipts were
llbeial and the market took n drop of 25o on
good hogs. Thursday witnessed a slight ad
v unco and Frida ) 's market was steady and a
